What is Hypnotherapy?
Simply put, Hypnosis is a state of highly focused attention. Daydreaming is a light hypnotic state. The moment one decides to internalize they very naturally begin to shift their attention inwards and move into “Trance” or hypnosis. A high state of anxiety is also a state of trance (highly focused attention). The first example describes trance with awareness, the second, trance without awareness.
What can Hypnotherapy Help with?
Hypnotherapy can help with a wide range of issues and symptoms. That said, no two people are the same. Every case depends on the relationship the client has with themselves and the relationship the client has with the Hypnotherapist. It is always best to have a consultation to discuss if the wants and needs of the client matches with the practitioner's methods and modalities of practice.
What will a session look like:
- About half the 60 minute session will be intake and discussion on what you hope to get out of a session together
- An induction is utilized to help you relax to a point you feel comfortable and your unconscious mind can communicate as needed.
- Trance looks different for every person and every session. This is where your you and your unconscious can communicate in unique ways.
- Sessions can be in person or online
- If your session is online please insure you are in a safe quiet place with little distractions and you have a stable connection with good audio and video.
